A 7 hour live virtual program, delivered across two half-day sessions.
Course Overview
As the use of artificial intelligence (AI) increases, so too does the need for appropriate risk assessment of AI systems.
Whether your organisation is buying, building, implementing or just thinking about AI systems, the capability to identify potential privacy risks – and develop strategies to mitigate those risks – is fast becoming a crucial skill-set.
This course cuts through the technical jargon, to offer you a framework for assessing projects involving AI. You will not only learn to identify the risks to avoid, but also start to explore the positive features to incorporate, to make AI systems lawful and ethical.
Benefit from learning with your peers: as a small group workshop, this course includes practical learning via a facilitated, scenario-based risk assessment task.
Is this course right for you?
This course is designed for Privacy Officers, risk and compliance specialists, or people involved in an AI project team, who would like to improve their capability to identify and manage privacy risks when procuring, developing or implementing AI systems.
This training can be undertaken as a standalone course.
If you also need to learn about privacy legal foundations, you can start with an online module of privacy compliance training for your jurisdiction. You may also like to combine this program with our PIAs and Privacy Design course.
Eligible for 7 Continuing Privacy Education points (1 point per hour) for CIPM.
