Salinger Privacy is a leader in the field of privacy consulting and training. Our Principal won the inaugural IAPP Global Vanguard Award for the Oceania region in 2022, and our team members are passionate advocates for privacy protection. Meet our team.
A consulting role at Salinger Privacy means working with clients at the intersection of law, technology and ethics, influencing outcomes across a range of sectors. Our impact ranges from shaping government policy to assisting organisations from tech start-ups to ASX100 companies to non-profits with their privacy management programs. In everything we do, we aim to demystify privacy law, and offer pragmatic solutions, to help our clients ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain the trust of their customers.
We help our clients build fairness, ethics, accountability and transparency into technology projects and business processes. Being involved up-front in the design of new initiatives ensures that privacy compliance and best practice can be ‘built-in’ rather than ‘bolted on’. Depending on the client’s needs, our consultants may conduct formal PIAs or privacy audits, or work alongside agile product development teams to offer ad-hoc privacy advice through the design process.

If we can’t fit in new work, we don’t bid for it. Salinger Privacy offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility for our staff, with all roles working from home.
Salinger Privacy also ensures that our team members can give back to the community, through volunteer work or by utilising their privacy expertise on pro bono or advocacy projects.
